You guys have help me out alot in the past. Please don't laugh at this one. If I write an e-mail enclose an attachment with it, how/can I find out size of it, in bytes, or whatever. Thant you guys.

You can right click on the message and select properties. It will give you the approximate size in kilobytes.

I am using Outlook 98 and find no Properties on the right click menu of a message.

I must open the email and the attachments are shown at the bottom displaying their file sizes.

Or, after opening the email I can then go to message's menu File, Properties and see the entire email's file size including the attachments.
