File appearing

I have just loaded a new programe in my comp. I had created a file on my second hard drive to place it in. Now each time I switch on it opens up this drive and displays the file . How can I stop this

There must be a shortcut to that file in your start-up group. Run MSCONFIG and remove the check mark from the line referencing that file in the start-up tab. If it doesn't appear there, try opening the program to see if there is an option to start when you boot up.
