Fax Problems

I try to use Windows messaging to fax. I create the files but the Fax Wizard will not cause the modem to dial. Are my settings preventing the dial? Has anyone got an idea or perhaps expereinced the same problem?

One possibility is if you are in an office, and need to dial 9, for an outside line. A quiet modem will not report that event, so turn up the sound level to assure you are getting a dial tone.
