Favorites gone

I had to reinstall Win 98SE over top of it self, so no of my programs would be gone. Now when I go to favorities in any window, including Internet Explore, there are no favorities there. But, if I go to C:\windows\favorities they are there. How do I get them back in Internet Explore?

Open IE Favorites & open Windows/Favorites now drag and drop.

If you had multi users you can goto windows/profiles directory and get them from there

I figured it out. It was from a program called X-Setup. I had it hide the exstensions of internet files. I guess that did it. Now everything is fine.
