This is the most aggravating problem iv'e ever encountered. Nearly everytime I right mouse click,
VBC caused a general protection fault
in module USER.exe at 0007:00000e8b.

What is VBC?

Do you have a dos mouse driver installed in the config.sys or autoexec.bat?

Most of these problems can be taken care of by disabling a file called Em_exec and updating your drivers for your logitec mouse

Check if the program EM_EXEC is running.

If EM_EXEC is running in the Close Program list, try restarting Windows, then ending task on EM_EXEC before starting AOL then continue with step 3.

1. Open the Close Program list and look for EM_EXEC.
a. Hold down the CTRL and ALT keys on your keyboard and then press the DELETE key. The Close Program list will appear.
b. Look through the Close Program list for EM_EXEC, highlight EM_EXEC by clicking (only once) on it with your mouse, Then click on the END TASK button.

2. If EM_EXEC is not running (not in the Close Program List), click on the CANCEL button and search the system to see if EM_EXEC.exe is on the system.
a. Click on the START button, select FIND, and click on FILES OR FOLDERS.
b. In the Named field, type:

EM_EXEC.EXE.

make sure the Look in field is set to C:\ and click on the FIND NOW button.

NOTE: If EM_EXEC.exe is not found on the computer then the Logitech Mouseware software is not an issue. Continue with the next resolution.

c. Once found, right click on the EM_EXEC.exe file and select RENAME from the resulting menu.
d. Type

EM_EXEC.OLD

e. Press the ENTER key on your computer keyboard.
