i am recieving this, (fatal exception OE @ 0028:C158E5E9) after shuting down MSN. I have windows 98. It sometimes does not do it, but most of the time it does. 9/10 times it will. It will also freeze up after leaving this mess. Please help me.

Barrett, I disagree with the previous response to your problem. The problem is caused by IE trying to dump the faulty headers on some of the web pages you have been viewing. It will empty the temporary internet files folder when you exit but the index.dat is not rebuilt, it is also corrupted, until you reboot your machine. Many pages are written with ads or banners that have continuous loops in them and since they are sloppily written your memory becomes overloaded when it hits the bad coding. The solution is to set your maximum MTU in your registry to 1524 to allow it to process and so IE can dump it smoothly. Regretfully some corruptions will exceed this if your ISP isn't running a specific MTU cap.
