my fatal exception problem message is oe at 0028:c0003954 in vxd vmm(01)+00002954 . what does this mean. usually occurs while online. Other online problems include being unable to load frameset for sites that I have used previously. Help, pleaase!!
Howdy, Well do the OE errors occur anywhere else? How much disk space do you have left? Did this happen out of the blue? Need more details before I can help ya out.

Thanks Kevin, this is my only recorded blue box message, but four times in the last week, my screen has gone blank black and I had to reboot, also my mouse seems to have a life of its own when scrolling on down arrows. After a few slow clicks down in any application, it continues down on its own. I use a logitech mouse with the logitech software that came with it. This is a new problem that did not occur when the mouse was new last month. I have pentium 200 with mmx, 32 meg RAM and about a gig left on my hard drive. Problems all started about the same time, but with no obvious cataclysmic event to trigger them. I have reloaded windows95 with the software that came with the computer, and although the serial numbers match, during loading at numerous points the message thatsome of the files i was loading were older then the ones already there. I kept the newer files in all cases.Thanks for any light you can shed.

Most of the vmm(01) errors that we see are caused by bad or mismatched system ram. See the link below. Or caused by Mcafee antivirus.

Any luck in fixing fatl error message "0E 0028:C0003954 in VXD VMM(01) + 00002954". I have just upgraded to 450MHz and am getting this while online, downloading from the Web.
Any help will be appreciated.

hello
every time i try to open my computer, drive space, find files or folders, drivespace, scandisk or any other system programs i recieve an error message "A fatel exeption OE has occured at 00:28:00000000." I have a HP vectra PII 350 w/ 64mb ram, and a voodoo 3 3000 graphics card, and Windows 98. Could you help me fix this frustrating problem because i cant run drivespace to uncompress C drive so that i can reinstall windows 98.thanks

The only program that is running, after the exception is McAfee Guard Dog. When I close this, nothing happens; no programs are running at that time (shown by the program shutdown window).

I am getting a 'fatel exception OE occured at
0028:c00bd89 in VXD VMM = + 0000ad89' everytime I close Adobe Illustrator 8 or 9.
It has happened everytime I used the program.
I'm running 133 processer with 32 ram and know 64 is recommended. Is that the problem? Can anybody help?

This is going to sound wierd but here goes. I started getting an exception 0E out of the blue and my computer would reboot itself on occassion. After a lot of searching and swapping of RAM, I found that my CPU fan would stop and start (a bad connection in the wires). I removed and cleaned the fan and processor and fixed the loose wires. No more problems.

I forgot to say that I have a P III 733 Mhz with 20 Go hard disk + TNT2 32 Mo + 64 Mo RAM .

Well I tthink that if your getting Fatel Exception error vmm it could be bad ram. Also check the directx version that you have and download the latest direct x at directx.com. Mostly works for games.

i was getting the same problem with my tnt2 card and my via chipset motherboard i swapped everypart in the machine except the tnt2 after i did that i had no more fatal errors. ( i switched to a voodoo3 card instead of tnt2)

Fatel exceptions can come from the video card,modems if you have a motorla modem change it. It can be cuased by bad ram or a windows problems.

i keep getting this error
VMM(01)=0000DC99 error OE:0028:C000EC99
everytime i try to create a lan game for counterstrike. But when i play RA2 there was no problem. The only time the blue screen show up was when i play a 3d related game. This is very annoying. It happen to me when i was using Win98se now its happening with WIn ME too... It so annoying can someone plz help me......or i'll comited sucide soon~
