OE errors are memory errors. VFAT is Virtual File Allocation Table (hard drive) Sounds like you either have a bad (a)Drive data cable, (b)Bad Drive, (c)Bad drive controller. Check them in that order. Since the problem does appear to be hard drive related then your OS may also be damaged and you may need to format and reinstall the system. Formatting may help determine if you have a bad drive. Try the cable first - They don't go out often, but they can go out.
