Just a guess, but that looks like somehting to do with a sound driver perhaps....
check your sound and video drivers to be sure they're the newest available, and make sure you have the latest version of directx installed

Put the 1st 4 digits ( eg. 0028 ) into the MS search site at
http://search.support.microsoft.com/kb/c.asp

1 . Select a microsoft product ( eg . W95 )
2 . Try item 1 ( Keyword Search using - All Words )
3 . Type 0028 , press Go .

No luck , try again using item 2 ( Specific article ID number )

The solution (which works for me) is to Reinstall drivers (TBS MONTEGO FOR ASP4WAVE) or other drivers. Anyways what is the game that you are playing? I was playing the SIMS. You can setup the drivers last 4 digit into the ASPxxxx.drv and open it with notepad and change sounddrv.vxd to "SOUNDDRV.VXD(01)" -i/Cxxxx----
Where the X are you type the Data file with the error and ---- with the last 4 digits.
Or interrupt CMI.INI (if you have it)and launch int.ini to the main load up so that it replaces it. Download a so called "VXD0028.bat" to fix the V02912.dll glitch.
