I've been getting a fatal exception message when I start Windows 98: A fatal exception 0E has occured at 0028:c002f709 in VXD NTKERN(01) + 0000DFC9

Can you help?

I have been thinking of updating my Win95 to 98 just to avoid this same 0E fatal plague!

it is a hardware conflict most likely your cdrom or sound card.
