Anyone run across this one? Fatal Exception Error 06 in VXD VNBT(01)+00006D08. Don't know where this is coming from or how to fix. I get the dreaded blue screen with this error in several applications. I'm using Windows 95 on an IBM Thinkpad 600 laptop.

After I disconnect from MSN (Microsoft Network) and SHUTDOWN the system I get "FATAL EXCEPTION 06 HAS OCCURRED AT 0000:00002C3B", but sometimes the system just
locks up with no message and I have to power off the system.
I'm running AMD K6-2 450 MHZ, Windows 95, Internet Explorer 5.0

I started getting 06 when trying to shut down the computer after being logged on to Napster. I ran Norton system to make sure there were not any problem, but the problem occurs even after norton does not detect any problems. The computer locks up.

Hey people. I was getting a fatal error 06 at 0028:00000017 every time I'd shut down or restart. I *finally* fixed the problem!! I had to disable USB support in the bios. Thankfully, a USB to PS/2 converter came with my mouse. Hope this helps somebody.
