Hi
Big problem. I get the fatal exception 0E at 0028:C0008F60 in VxD VMM(01) + 00007F60 blue screen of death! It happens very often, like every 5-10 minutes out of nowhere. This is under an early version of win95. I have a 166 MHz Pentium, 500 megs hard drive (old computer), 32 megs of EDO ram. Please please help me fix this computer. It's been driving me nuts for a long time now. I've installed win3.1 on it but it also crashes. And even when I had Dos on it, it would also freeze sometimes, very rarely though. I also have 28.8 modem in there, a sound card, a cdrom and an antique video card (512k). Any ideas and solutions, please answer. You can also email me at maksim_k@hotmail.com
I would really appreciate some help on this one. Thanks guys.

Max

That sure sounds like a hardware problem. I would suspect an intermittent RAM problem. Get a memory test program and run it overnight.

Try to change the video card. This could be the problem.

Good Luck

My main suspect would be faulty RAM.
