Comment:

When I shut down, I get a Back Track Monitor Window which reads "fatal error (8205); cannot take a snapshot." After I click OK it shuts down. No harm done, just an annoyance. Anyone got a fix? TIA

Sounds like another anti-crash or fix-it program that's going to cause more problems than it'll solve. Give it a decent burial.

After living with this thing for approximately a month and a half I figured out how to fix it. Other than just diableing the application which is what I've found searching the net. Go into Back Track, click on configure, it gives you the option of keeping 30 to 70 snapshots on file up the number listed, of course if its 70 your going to have to delete some snapshots. When you get the fatal error 8205 it is full and cannot take anymore snapshots! I feel so smart when I finally figure out something that is basically so simple.

I had a corrupted file in the back track monitor. The easiest way to cure it was to delete and then reinstall First Aid. Problem solved. Just hope that you don't want to back track straight afterwards.
