AGP Video cards over 8mgs will result in a multitude of errors including 0E, 0D and other weird stuff. Abandon your super-duper AGP card and plug in a PCI 8mg. Good luck.

i get this excact error adress aswell
it is an "OE" which is a page fault
it is definitly a software problem
i have tnt2 m64, brand new acer system
have put in a standard 4mb vid card & still blue screens This occurs `trying to play games that use directx, usually when 3D acceleration is imployed eg. video sequence at start of age of empires
Am in the middle of sussing out the problem
trying possible causes
1. directx itself, trying other earlier versions
2. using another copy of windows 98 2nd edition(as i also get Ddhelp errors which is a windows directx helper program
will post outcome
i feel your anguish

Steve ive got the same problem!
got a new tnt 2 m64, new aopen ax63 mother board and 64 meg Ram, running win 98 SE and happen ever time im about to run a game where the game is about to start (need for speed 5)however it also seems to happen when im playing video clips at times.
One other funny thing ive discovered is that my free physical memory goes up and down depending what programs i use, for instance say i try and play NFS straight after a re-boot it wont work and the free physical memory will be about 4 meg other times it will be high after using the PC for a while and I will be able to play itgot any ideas?? Like you im fed up with it!!
hope i helped

Just thought I'd add my voice to the chorus of anguish related to this posting - i've got identical problems with the same page fault bluescreen . it appears whenever u try running graphics-intensive apps , be they games or MPEGs or even Sonique vis modes . i've been working on this for nearly a week now - I've changed graphics drivers , re-installed DirectX , ran SFC , Dr.Watson , changed hardware acceleration slider bar , even installed a patch that i'd found and was supposedly a sure thing to fix it .... all useless . tried the binary logic approach and removed applications one by one followed by a laborious reboot - nothing . I agree with Steve in that it's definitely a software problem , it may even be a corrupted registry . If any of u guys are still checking this thread and have discovered a solution then PLEASE post it or e-mail me cos I'm going mental here . Oh yeah , I'm running a PIII 667 EB on a Tyan Trinty 400 mobo with a stick of 128Mb Micron SDRAM . PLEEEAAASSSEEE ..........

I have had success with this fatal exception error.
I have a feeling the origanal video drivers caused a problem, would install new detonator 2 drivers from http://nvidia.com but still got errors.
fixed the problem by
1. formatting c: drive & installed detonator 2 drivers from the start.
2. speeding up motherboard (computer supplier did this)
3. also running windows 98 first edition, althuogh i dont think this has anything to do with it, also dont think directx has nothing to do with it ( am running directx 7a now)
havent had this error again!!!
hope i was of some help
stev418

I am having this exact same problem with
AOE II. I have a PIII 550 with nvidia M64
vid. card. I sounds to me like the vid. card
could be the problem, beens there are
several of them on this posting. Anybody
with some info PLEASE HELP, feel free
to email meI AM DESPERATE!!!!!

I'm also having the exact same fatal exception as you guys. I'm running a PIII 866 with 128MB and a nvidia geforce. I've been having this problem for a month now and lately i took the case off and on the cooler days i can actually play a game without the error. I play diablo2. But it still happens sometimes even when the cpu is cool, for sure it happens much less than a hot day.
I'm still looking for a real fix for this.
Please help.
