Hi to all, I have a question;if I convert a primary partition(ex: C:\) to fat16 from fat32, it posibil to damage or lose logical partition(D:\, E:\..)?

Because, when I want to install the WindowsNT, setup did not find any partition on my Harddrive.(Curent operating system is Win98se)

I can't understand how switching to fat16 is gonna fix that. But good luck anyway.

WEll ??? NT4 doesn't see FAT32. It can only see FAT16 and NTFS patitions.
John, get Partition Magic and you can convert your FAT32 partitions to FAT16. Just remember that FAT16 partitions can only be 2 gigs max size so you might want to resize your FAT32 down a little and add another partition and make that the FAT16

same situation happened me too, I use partition magic to make undestroyable conversion from fat32--> fat16. THat's the only program that I know of so far.
