Comment:
Is it possible to partition a drive into two drives if the drive you want to partition is a fat32 drive, and Fdisk won't do it. If so how?

Format the drive, then fdisk only one partition, or Partition Magic!

a word of warning- unless it is partition magic for fat32 specifically , you will destroy your fat by using it and will have to rebuild. it is pointless formatting then fdisking - these things work in the opposite order- fdisk loses any formatting you've done! if fdisk won't do it , then you are using a fat16 fdisk, and you shouldn't. use a fat32 fdisk, eg off the win98 cd. and , daft question, but I do hope you aren't attempting this from within windows.
