Extracting a file to a folder

I have a 12mb file that needs extracting first, but when i click on it, it extracts to my desktop, leaving thousands of files on the screen. How can I extract it to a folder i have created. many thanks jim

move the file (12mb) to the folder that you want to extracts then double click on the file and it will extracts to that foler.

Add the folder to the "extract to" path.
