My external HP 8200e CDRW is no longer recognized by my computer. I haven't used it for a while, don't think I've installed any new software etc. The HP software for the drive is still installed, but can't find the drive. Any thoughts? Thanks!

have you checked control panel\system\device manager to see if there are any yellow exclamations? maybe there is a hard ware conflict, have you installed anything recently? post back :-)
