I have noticed recently that after I get off the internet and click anything on my desktop that it takes up to 30 seconds to respond. If I open the close program box it will some times show explorer not responding. I thought it might have to do with the new security update but I un-ticked it restarted and the same thing. I also did a IE explorer repair. Any ideas what to check for now?

check to see what else is running,check RSRCMTR.exe details for resources, try running in safe mode, and do adaware scan or virus scan. :)

I am still having a problem with this.It is very annoying.after I close the internet connection and immediately click any thing on my desktop I will see the hour glass and it will take up to 60 seconds to respond. If I don't click anything right off all will be fine. I have run all the virus scans (AVG,Trend Micro,Panda,Spybot and Adaware) also A-Squared mallware checker.Checked all programs running in the background,start-up list and close program box.Please help me with this!!!
