explorer picture previews

Until just recently, I was able to hi-light a jpeg/gif/bmp file in explorer (win 98) and it would show a preview of that picture in the frame on the left of the screen. this feature seems to have turned itself off. does anyone know how I can get it back? thanks Julia -x-

I'm glad I ran across your post I had completely forgotten that I too lost that feature until I check just a moment ago. Choose any image in your files, open View and click Show as Web Page.

Summary: When opening a window under "view as webpage" there's a bar on the left. whenever you click on an image, it shows a little previw of it. Unfortunately I lost that. Explorer doesnt preview JPEGs anymor...
