I'm coming in safe mode for defragging my disk, but I get an "Explorer page fault in unknown module at 0000:02ec2370" message.
What's that? The doctor is killing the patient?
Thanks
Danny

Usually, doing a re-install of Windows "over the top" will cure this problem. You won't lose any of your data.

I don't know why everybody here seems to love reinstalling windows. Yes you can do that and not lose any data but you may create other problems especially if you have many of the updates that MS provides.
The first thing I'd try is to reinstall IE(whatever version you have)or upgrade to version 6 SP1 if you haven't already done so. You'd be amazed how many problems that can resolve with explorer.exe.
If that doesn't work load the system.ini file into notepad and modify the line
shell=explorer.exe
to
shell=progman.exe
reboot the PC and go to safe mode.
click file run and in the dialog box type
c:\windows\defrag.exe
change system.ini file back
the second option won't fix the problem but will get you defragged. I have a strong feeling reinstalling IE will fix you up though.
