I am running Windows 98 with IE5. I am encountering the following error message: "Explorer executed an invalid instruction in module comctl32.dll at 0167:bfbabe0f"
As far as I know, I had not installed or deinstalled anything immediately prior to this problem commencing.
This happens ALMOST everytime Outlook Express checks for mail (but not always)and at RANDOM times when I close certain programs (mostly IE and ICQ) and at RANDOM (and rarely) while I am still IN a program. Nothing "bad" seems to happen except that sometimes it closes the program when I don't want it to...or (when I have closed a program myself) the bottom taskbar disappears, reappears and there I am at my desktop again. It's highly annoying though and am hoping someone knows what to do about it.
