OS: 98
CPU/Ram: 500mhz and 128MB ram

when i open any programs up in windows 98 , i get an illegal operation error that pops up that shows explorer. I did a sfc and that didnt fix it, tried a scanreg restore and that didnt work either. What could cause this problem
