Explorer doesn't start automatically

strange...my explorer does not start automatically when i boot up. any way to make explorer.exe to run automatically? this happened after i installed a software... pls mail me with the answers.. thanks a lot!

If you mean Windows Explorer, start the program, & find the explore.exe program in the windows directory. If you're using WIn98 simply drag the icon to the Start button, when it pops up go to Programs then Startup & release your mouse button to copy a shortcut there. If your using WIn95 right click on explore.exe,copy, then go to Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp, right click & then paste a shortcut.
If you mean Internet Explorer follow the same directions, you will find iexplore.exe under Program Files\Internet Explorer.
