Expanded memory problem!

When I boot into windows just before the desktop at the dos prompt I get a message that says "Expanded memory not present or not usable". Could you please tell me what to do.

Check to see if the following lines are added to you Config.sys file. If not, try them.
DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\himem.sys
DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\EMM.386
DOS=high,umb

Go to the MS-Dos prompt and type: edit config.sys
then press and you're in the config.sys file.
