There are many reasons why you received a Fatal Exception Error. Common problems are incompatible files, certain programs or drivers.

This Microsoft Knowledge Base Article may help you:

"What Are Fatal Exception Errors"
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=150314

You need to give more information about when you received the error, which programs you were using at the time or whether you received it when starting up or shutting down Windows.

I hope this helps!
