Exception error on boot up??

Keep getting exception error when i try to boot with win 95/98 and k6-2-300,ibm 200,ibm 300,p100.Have installed the microsoft timing patch but still get the error.M/board is rev 3.0 Ability 100mhz model, Ve-o?? i think. Thanks for any help

Steve Did you upgrade to 98 or was it already installed. If you have start up commands with errors, this will make your machine hang or in some cases not boot at all. If you upgraded yourself I have found with most people this is usually where the problem is. Win 98 is good system but is really a little different to install. Need to know more about your situation to really help. All I can say at this point is reformat and reload.
