Hi there...please help if you can...
I have found other problems and "solutions" SIMILAR to mine, but they go off track and a fix is never introduced for my exact problem.

I have an extention to a previous problem:
I have a P1 266Mhz with several hard drives installed. It was running Win95b until a US Robotics Winmodem was installed. The modem grounded out- and never worked. It was removed, and any software associated was also removed. Since then the computer only would start in Safe Mode. There are files on drives other than c: that I want to save...and the program files on c: need to be retained - if possible.
I rebooted with a WIN98 boot disk, which allowed the CDrom drivers to work.

I reinstalled the original WIN95 in the c:windows default file that came up, and the install happens OK, but when the system restarts, I get "Explorer caused an exception 6d007fH in module KERNEL.dll at 014f:bff9a3c0 (etc)
This happens before the desktop loads.
Let me know if you need more info...
Please help- I would like to retain the program files in c:programs
Thanks a bunch!
