Im using Excel 97 on a Windows 95 network. When I try to open certain Excel files, it loads almost to the end, but bombs out with the message "Excel caused an invalid page fault in module Excel.exe at 0137:300alb35".
Strangely enough when I log onto another computer on the same network and try to open the same files, it opens without a problem. I tried to save the files to new workbooks with new names, without success. Microsoft have various articles about invalid page faults, but I can't find any with the same error code.
Please, I need help?

Hello Hannes,

If you can open the damaged workbook, We suggests these steps to recover your data:

1) Open a new workbook;

2) Select the cells that contain data and click Copy in the first worksheet in the damaged workbook;

3) In the new workbook, paste the data into a worksheet;

4) Repeat these steps for each worksheet;

5) Save the new workbook as a new file.

Hope this helps you.

Regards,
Sherlock
