When I am booting up my computer, it stops when still going through all the dos stuff, and gives me the message that ide slave fail, press F1 to continue.
I have tried reconfiguring the jumpers. Anyone have any ideas?

Enter the Bios setup routine and have the hard drives re-recognized. Or set them to 'auto'.
