When windows 98 boots up I get an error message with the following prompt "Cannot find 'openme.exe'(or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available." I have to ok it everytime on boot up (very annoying). The last thing I remember doing is cleaning up some startup programs in msconfig. I rebooted before and never got the error message. Now I get it. Any ideas guys? Thanks. ~Ryan

Do it at your own risk (That's that I did, and it worked fine)
Look in the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WinlogonYou should find an entry that looks something like this:
Shell REG_SZ Explorer.exe openme.exe
Remove "openme.exe" from the end of it, then delete the file (should be c:\windows\openme.exe) and you should be good to go.
Note: If you want to be extra safe, you might want to try backing up the registry value and the file before making modifications. As usual, be very careful when mucking about where you don't know exactly what will happen.
