Everytime I disconnect from the internet, I get a blue screen with an error message as follows: An exception OE has at 0028:C76D3763 in VxD---. This was called from 0028:C7647C60 in VxD---. It may be possible to continue. Why does this keep happening, and is there a site that might help me with info on the Net?

Your network adapter and TCP/IP driver files weren't set up correctly, maybe try removing those protocols and re-installing?

Laura,

I bet you are using Windows 95 and have updated to a later version of IE 5.0 or Netscape. Part of it is in the TCP/IP but not all of it.
Try to browse the files in and the sub folders and see if you get another blue screen crash. I do and it is from certain pages I use. If you are on Netscape they also have a folder that stores the pages you viewed.
If you have another crash from what I described, contact me by e-mail at and I will help you get rid of the corrupted file.
I wish I had a solution but I haven't found one yet. I have reduced the severity and the number but still some pages blow me up.

John

if you are using IE5 on an old version of 95, you have had it best to reinstall IE4 from a ISP provider disk, this should cure or upgrade to 98

ok, those sollutions before could be right, but this problem may happend to many causes, ok, so if you have an antivirus software, try reinstalling it, cuz, this softwre interacts with all teh software on your pc, and if the antivirus doesnt work propperly may cause this prob.

try this and let me know if it works , ok
