1. I want to upgrade IE 4 in an old pc running win 95 to IE 5. Half way through, the installation stopped and I got this message:
The Rundll32.exe file is linked to missing export
wininet.dll: InternetGetConnectedState
I couldn't continue the installation.2. After that, another message popped up:
The sirc32.exe file is linked to missing export: wininet.dll: InternetGetConnectedState
(I have scanned and remove the sircam virus, but why is the file still there?)3. The same message also prevent me from running Add/Remove program.
What should I do? Please help.
Thanks.

download the sircam removal tool from sarc.com, run it to remove all of sircam.
www.sarc.com w32.sircam.worm@mm.removal.tool.html

Thanks for the link.
But I'd like to know how to solve the missing export wininet.dll problem and continue with the upgrading.
