I downloaded a program and the uninstall did not work so I uninstalled it but its still in Control Panel and when I start my computer, it says it can load it because it cant find it, how do I get rid of it. Thanks Sue

All icons within the control panel are .cpl files. To delete the icon click Start / Find / Files or folders. For the name of the file type *.cpl insure that the location is the C: drive and click Find.
Once completed you should be able to locate the *.cpl file for the icon you wish to delete. Delete or move the file to another location and reboot the computer.

Make a backup of your registry before the following. (not for the faint of heart).
Select Windows start, run and type regedit.
This will run the windows regedit program.
Next, select edit and then find: type the name of your program and once you find the key for this program , delete it. Press f3 to find the next instance of the program and delete the key. And on again until the keys for the program are all deleted.
This should completely remove the messages concerning the program.
Please report on progress.

I tried both of the above and ended up just restoring Register, goofed it up. The actual error was when I turned the computer on it said Rundll error loading TWEAKUI.CPL The system connot find the file specified............ So went to the recycle bin and restored the program....Just trying to get more space MB, if you know whats wrong let me know. Sue

It sounds like you installed the tweakui utility (is it Microsoft?)
I would try reinstalling it and then view the readme file that came with it to uninstall.
