error, 8mb needed, but ive got 96?

i went to install a game and it came up with "error, u need atleast 8mb or ram, but ive got 96mb ram? is something suckin all ma juice? if so wat? an how do i find out?

Are you sure it said RAM and not disk space. What operating system are you using??? What game??? Are you getting this message when you install or whne you run...

death rally, upon installing, it says that error message, i haf a amd 350, 96 ram, an about 3gb HD left, the sys requirments say i need an 8mb(ram) machine, jus now i realized that i could install/play the game in dos, is somethin in windows suckin up the juice?

Many DOS based games have this problem, some can be run from windows if you create a PIF file for them and adjust the settings, some will only run in DOS. Try right clicking the exe file that runs the game and playing around with the properties. This sometimes works but not always. I have one DOS game that tells me 'not enough free memory need 640k' hehe and my machine has 64MB that one I've never gotten to work. Good luck!
