Did you make any hardware changes recently?

If ACPI is having a problem you should see an error indicator in Device Manager for some device.

Go to Start>Settings>Control Panel>2x clk on System, and select the Device Manager tab. Any yellow or red indicators there.

As long as your in Device Manager, 2x click on System Devices, and then 2x click on PCI Bus. Are there any errors showing up on PCI Bus?
