Epson 600 printer question

I have an Epson Stylus 600 printer, when I took the printer apart to clean the printhead, I disassembled a screw on the left side where the silver bar (what the printhead slides on) I think I messed up the adjustment of the printhead, will print blank text with no ink. Please help. Thanks.
Printers are not meant for home disassembly due to the printhead to platen alignment, which needs to be set as per Workshop manual, which Epson will charge you more than printers worth, which is about € 25
Does your Epson have Head Alignment in its software?
Maybe you will be lucky and that will readjust the position of the head for printing.
Take care,
Linda

I've got a couple of Epson 800s that I'm sending to goodwill because the cartridges are more than the printers are worth. I think the 600 series use the same cartridges. If you live in Albuquerque (now wouldn't that be a coincidence!) come on over and get them.

These printheads are notorious for clogging. You will waste more ink attempting to clean printheads than the printer's worth.
