Hi,
I've been running into this error so many times already. EMM386 deteced Error#06.... you know the rest...
sometimes, this error message won't even bother to appear and just jump DIRECTLY to rebooting my machine.
I get this error message when I run DOS base Program (Driver Image 2.02 from Powerquest) and sometimes I'll get it while I'm rebooting my PC or starting up my PC.
Can someone please tell me WHY I'm getting this message? and how to fix it? run mem-maker? I'm using Windows98. Celeron 400Mhz, 128Mb ram, Differential SCSI HDs. Banshee (CLabs),SBLive, 2940 SCSI controller, DAT tape drive..
Please email me at: aak97@earthlink.net

THANKS ALOT!

Herbert
PS. Why Windows 98 still use EMM?? isn't that a Dos thing? will NT have the same kind of problem?

Have the same problem on ibm valuepoint 486 66. It mostly occurs when viewing large .jpg files. Have to turn off computer to reset the modem.
