editing *.mov files

i have a .mov file on my Win98 computer. it is kinda dark so is there a way to maybe brighten it with some program or something? if there is a way, how do i do it? thanks.

There maybe some way to edit the file if you are into programming. I don't think there is any other way forward. Try the Programming Forum (top left of page)

Looks like it might do it but it's $45. They do a demo version so at least you can try it first.
Maybe there's something else out there if you search long enough.

Ah, GoldWave - they've been around since the Win31 days.
I mentioned QuickEditor 'cause it's (or was) a nice slimware package & easy to use (it was shareware too). Can't find any active links for it, other than the Macintosh version - I might still have a copy.
