Oh woe is me... :((
My internal EZ-Photo Drive scanner....Has scanned photos for me for two plus years without ANY problems...
NOW...it is acting up...And it is MY fault.. :((
I was scanning a series of photos when I decided to 'fiddle' with the settings....
I inadvertantly looked at the 'calibration mode'...
and decided against it as I did not have the photo-grey card handy....
Sooo I went on my merry way and inserted another photo to scan.
I noticed it was 'slower' than normal....
It was 'calibrating' on the photo'...YIKES !!!
Then it came up with the dreaded window shown below...EZPHOTO caused a general protection fault
in module EZPDRIVE.DS at 0002:00005b3b.

I UN-installed...installed...defragged...Looked for the Web-site of "Storm Technologies"
and 'it' was not accessable...The 800 # is too old and not available either....JUST GREAT !!
I had rolled it over onto another larger HD long ago...when I still had Win311...All was fine.....It has worked great since I moved to 98 in January.....Till now...
ANY IDEAS...?!?!?!It has a 'blind' controller card inserted on the MB....There are no jumpers....

Mine is showing a general protection default @ such and such. Any ideas on how to fix this will be greatly appreciated.

My Easy Photo Scanner will not communicate with the Easy Photo Software. Please help. When I change my operating system, I lost the files.
What is the drive that connects the scanner to the software? Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The above link to the windriver site is the best hope. Don't try it under Windows 2000 -just doesn't work. So now i will reinstall w/Win9x and see if it works then. Stupid Storm.

If you are looking for drivers for the Photodrive (internal) for an hp 7xxx-x then your going to have to look around for the manufacter driver(dfunct now!!!!!!)I'm in the myist of trying out the assorted drivers at the hp site for photodrive...what a pain..

havent "ripped" it out yet to find out what the model number is yet but i do know that there are listings for the pavillion series et et for a scanner but who knows if that is the way to go...will research the x company to find the drivers at the assorted driver sites...mmmm much fun at this point and a real pain to get this one piece of equipment to work again without the recovery disk...(not going there..

I have the original WIN 3.1, WIN 95 install disk and the calibration card for the EZ Photodrive.
I will try a high resoloution scan of the calibration card and see if it works. If it does, I could post it.
I need NT 4.0 drivers if they exist.
I see some people need the disk or the caliration card. Willing to make deal.

Help for me too! Somehow my Twain interface is GONE....it has vanished! If anyone knows how to get it back or what I need to do please email me. I have the HP7130 photodrive. Thanks!

guess I am in the same boat. I lost my card too but it was working without it fine. (Previous calibration I suppose) main prob is tho. I had a exroomate decide he needed my program more than me. so when I put in a new c drive and put the old c drive as d drive my program no longer works. I need the card and the program cd replaced.

I have an HP scanner and EZPhoto come in the software. I have used it for over a year sucessfully now suddenly it says it cant communicate with my scanner. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling! Help.
