Oh woe is me... :(( My internal EZ-Photo Drive scanner....Has scanned
photos for me for two plus years without ANY
problems...
NOW...it is acting up...And it is MY fault.. :((
I was scanning a series of photos when I decided to
'fiddle' with the settings....
I inadvertantly looked at the 'calibration mode'...
and decided against it as I did not have the photo-grey
card handy....
Sooo I went on my merry way and inserted another
photo to scan.
I noticed it was 'slower' than normal....
It was 'calibrating' on the photo'...YIKES !!!
Then it came up with the dreaded window shown
below...EZPHOTO caused a general protection fault
in module EZPDRIVE.DS at 0002:00005b3b.

times in various partition drives to 'fool' it...All to no avail.
I UN-installed...installed...defragged...Looked for the
Web-site of "Storm Technologies"
and 'it' was not accessable...The 800 # is too old and not
available either....JUST GREAT !!
I had rolled it over onto another larger HD long
ago...when I still had Win311...All was fine.....It has
worked great since I moved to 98 in January.....Till
now...
ANY IDEAS...?!?!?!It has a 'blind' controller card inserted on the MB....There
are no jumpers....
Hi, I also have an Easy Photo scanner that recently has been giving me similar messages to what you have described...unfortunately I also couldn't get a hold of anyone or anything that gave me any information about how to fix it. I actually had to re-install all of windows in order to fix the glitch in the program and then when i re-installed everything I re-installed the scanner program. My new question is far simpler, can you tell me the V of the ac power adapter, I lost mine and cannot find one, by trial and error that works. Thank you!!

Well, my story is even worse by what i see. I bought the same scanner and in 2 years and one replacement by Storm Technologies, i still cant scan anything with my unit. Always gave me problems and errors, till i gave up and tried once again today to see if new drivers came in or not.
As far as im concerned it was the worse buy i could have done, but hey this was a cheap scanner.....:)

After a computer crash a need to reinstall all programs, I discovered that I could not find software to do so. Anyone know how to send the program so I can copy and reload the program to get it functional again? Help!!!

Tried the addy you listed Sayeed at Stormeng.com and found no site coming up. Are you sure they exist? I need the software to get the scanner up and running. Again - any help out there??!!

I have the HP version of the pre-installed photo scanner by EZ Photo. My hard drive crashed and I cannot find the driver to make it work either. I looked up the site listed by Saheed ... its a totally different company. Has nothing to do with computers or EZ Photo. I'm told that whoever has the driver on their computer can download it to a disk for others to use. Any takers, or is the file too big for a floppy?

Hello! I wanted to let those of you out there who have lost your software disks that I found mine and would be happy to help in any way that I can. Just send me an email and we'll see what we can do. The version I have is EasyPhoto Version 2.00 1995.

I never had a Easy-Photo scanner but I have an ACER and it is a piece of junk also, I found the best thing to do is get a good digital camera with a macro setting and you dont need a scanner. I have the SONY DSC-F1.

I have a easy photo drive in a Hewlett Packard 6155P. I had a mother board failure and the crash CD contains the driver for the scanner. However I cannot get it from the CD.
I would like to get my photo scanner working again.Can any one help me please!!!!
