I asked this a long time ago at this very site, and someone gave me a quick answer. But I forgot what the answer was... so I'll ask again.
When I start up my PC, it goes to a "enter username and password" screen. There was a simple way of getting rid of this prompt message, but I forget how.

If im thinking correctly (which is kind of rare lol) I think your supposed to put in a user name and leave the password part blank. That way it wont ask for a pass anymore even after rebooting.
Hope that helps

Try changing the network client setting from Microsoft network to Windows Logon. Find this setting under network properties.
