You are using DOS or Windows gives you these error messages? What you need to do is put Device=Himem.sys and Device=Emm386.exe lines near the top of the config.sys so you can load things into high memory later in the same file. When I say Device=Himem.sys, I am assuming you will put the right path in such as Device=C:\Dos\Himem.sys or Device=C:\Windows\Command\EBD\Himem.Sys if you are running Windows 98. Emm386.exe is in the Windows directory in Windows 98. Or you could put the files in the root directory of C:\ instead of adding paths. If you are running DOS, just run Memmaker.
