ok before i start...i'm not looking for any region free hacks or anything like that.

basically my hitachi gd5000 dvd(using cinemaster on win98)won't play region 2 dvd's..it just comes up with a yellow screen saying macrovision 1/2/3 but i can still hear the audio?!?.It plays an "all region" dvd i have that came free with the pc.I've run 'driveinfo' and it tells me that although my drive has region protection it is actually set to 'region code 2'...also i've got 4 changes left...so can anyone PLEASE help and maybe also tell me how i can access the option of changing the region setting(even though it's only 4 times).

thanks,

Mark.
