Looking for software DVD drivers for Diamond Viper V770 Video Card. There exists on the installation CDROM Zoran drivers for Win 95/98 but none for NT 4.0 (Service Pak 3 thru 5). Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Matshita (Panasonic) SR-8583-B DVD-ROM. I can't get it to play any DVD movies. What driver or software do I need to get this to play DVD's? Right now it only acts like a CD-ROM not a DVD-ROM.

For anyone needing Panasonic/Matsushita drivers for almost all of their CD/DVD-ROM and LS-120 drives, go to http://www.mei.co.jp/corp/Download/cdromdriver_e.html Don't install the language pack, there's only one Japanese character and the rest is English.

So, let me guess. These Matshita (Panasonic)DVDs are notorious for not working, is that it? I have SR-8585, there is an SR-8581 and SR-8582 in win98 vII. but i guess that doesn't help. So can anyone tell me how to play the movies? Thanks.

Matsus---a SR 8585 the firmware is region locked. you cant change it. try downloading driveinfo102 from www.7thzone.com just to see if the region is even set. coz mine isnt. you cant flash it. you cant change it. im still waiting for panasonic to tell me how to make it work. if i hold my breath, i think ill die before they reply. ill repost whatever they tell me (eventully)

I'm an owner of a Toshiba SDW-1111 DVD-RAM drive and got BUGGY drivers for Windows95 only with it. Toshiba charges something around 69 USD$ for BUGLESS new drivers and as you probably could imagine, I am REALLY PISSED OFF because of this. I need Windows 95/98 and new Windows2000 drivers for my drive. Does anybody know of a (maybe not 100% legal) download location for these drivers?
