Hi, i just bought a dvd burner. I tried to install it i did everything correct and changed it to slave and everything. However now when i reboot my computer i cannot go into anything, nothing loads except my background then it comes up with the following error message:
An exception OE has occured at 0028:0000000A in VxD_ _ _. This was called from 0028:C182ADCO in VxD voltrack (04) + 00000430
Does anybody have any idea what is wrong?

Hi Andy
Which slave did you set it as?
Primary slave or Secondary slave?
If 2 optical drives exist on one cable conflicts might occur.
Try setting it as Primary slave or if you are using it as a DVD/CDRW and have no stand alone CDROM then set it as Secondary master.
