Hello! I just wanted to ask: I wanted to backup my DVDS and I want the possible quality. I do not have a DVD RAM but a DVD ROM, so DIVX should be the best solution. I ripped the DVD with SmartRipper and this went perfectly well. Now I converted the .vob files to either .avi or .divx files and in both cases, I was badly dissapointed with the Quality. I used Vidomi, the encrypting/converting program. Any tips to get the best quality? I am prepaired to get any software, but I want the best quality and it has to be in DIVX format. I also do not want to use more than 2 media 700MB dics for a 2 hour movie. Many Thanks for any Help!!
