I am getting an error message stating "Error 667: the dial-up networking information in the registry is corrupted." The modem dials but no connection is completed because of this error. Is there a fix?

Hello,
Try installing the latest version of Dialup Networking you can get from MicroSoft web site.

Providing you have your windows set up disk, I would uninstall your dial up networking compleatly.

Then reboot.

Then reinstall Dial up networking.

But before you do any of this go to:
c:\control panel\add remove programs\windows setup {tab at top}\connection.
Now write everything you have check under the details button.

Now go to: c:\control panel\network neighborhood and again write down everything your see in the dialog boxes.

This way you know exactly what to reinstall when you do reinstall it if you decide to take my advice.
Good luck.
