I have two hard drives one has Windows 98 on it, the other I am going to install Linux. My question is how do I get these two operrating systems to dual boot from two different hard drives so I can switch back and forth between the two?
Or, if you want to do it the hard, time-wasting way, you could just change your primary boot device in your BIOS everytime the computer starts up and you want to go to a different OS. Just so you know your options.
You may have to do that anyway (though only once) so that you boot to the hard drive with Linux on it so that the boot manager even runs. When I was dual-booting, I just used a floppy that had LILO on it.
Enjoy running Linux.
