HI All,
I am a tech-support for a reputed Computer Co. recently I had two clients call me up with the same problem. One running Win 98 and the other Win ME.
Problem:
Every device in the system is working. Both of them DSl connection using a cable modem connected to a NIC(ethernet card).
This might be a simple problem...I was able to ping all the websites...like for instance...www.yahoo.com and the likes. But the IE 5.0/5.5 doesn't open up the websites...any website.
here's what I did: I checked for any proxy settings.nogo.
ran test on the NIC.Passed(this was before I ran the ping)
Please help....
